Ron Rhoades

Principal

Ron Rhoades is a Principal of Suntex Ventures and founding Member of Suntex Advisors.

Prior to Suntex, Mr. Rhoades was an Executive VP with Island Global Yachting (“IGY”), the world’s largest owner and operator of premier marinas. Mr. Rhoades joined IGY through IGY’s acquisition of Mr. Rhoades’ company, Sun Resorts. Prior to the acquisition, Mr. Rhoades was a Managing Director of Sun Resorts International, Inc. Sun Resorts acquired, owned and managed marinas located in Texas, Florida and the Caribbean employing 400 people. Prior to Sun resorts, Mr Rhoades was one of three founding members of Harvard Property Trust Inc., a Texas-based private real estate investment trust. Harvard acquired over $200,000,000 of suburban office buildings located in Texas and Minnesota. Mr. Rhoades is also a general partner and an investor in numerous real estate partnerships and operating companies.

Mr. Rhoades received an MBA from the University of Texas. He is a licensed CPA and Texas real estate salesman.
